Melbourne, Australia – 6 December 2016: dorsaVi Ltd (ASX: DVL) today announces that Memphis, Tennessee-based Connect has signed a 12-month distribution agreement. Under this agreement, Connect will act as a sales agent for the dorsaVi workplace solutions ViSafe. The minimum committed value of the agreement is $140,000.

Connect is active in the occupational health and safety space with an emphasis on marrying analytics and strategy to deliver innovative, proactive and personal ways to educate employees and partner with them in their quest to support a healthier workforce.

“We believe ViSafe is attractive to all levels of entry into the workers’ compensation process. From insurance carriers and brokers to employers, dorsaVi provides proven solutions that benefit employee productivity. Connect intends to work alongside clients in helping them understand the unprecedented benefits offered by dorsaVi in the wearables arena,” says Connect Healthcare Collaboration Founding Partner Christine Ferris.

“As the only FDA-approved wearable sensor in the US, dorsaVi offers results and solutions that can’t be matched by any other wearable technology in the market. Because Connect works with clients to seek proactive ways of offsetting detrimental health data trends, dorsaVi is a best-in-class fit with our model. And, we’ve already seen the impact it has on hospital clients from a clinical setting, to labour-intensive employers who want to offset their rapidly rising claims,” she continued.
Earlier this year dorsaVi signed Portland, Washington-based WorkRight NW as a distributor for ViSafe. WorkRight has signed more than $250,000 in ViSafe sales to date.

“We’re building a distribution model on a State by State basis in the US, and we are partnering with organisations who understand the market and see the significant opportunity for ViSafe. Connect is a perfect fit for dorsaVi and in a short period of time they have already shown that they understand the product, the value proposition and can translate that into sales,” said Dr Andrew Ronchi, CEO, dorsaVi.
